Pictus-Art is a web site and a grouping of artists dedicated to promoting artists and the arts in our local area. We meet primarily offline in the real world, but use this site to help organize our activities.
Many of our activities are free and others are relatively cheap to attend. We like to be able to make opportunities available to as many artists as possible. We want to be a place where the beginner and advanced artists can mix and gain from interaction.
The Calendar: See the calendar for an always up-to-date listing of events. There is a full schedule, so follow the link and rsvp to one of the many things you might be able to attend. Note that we organize our events through Meetup.com.
Pictus-Art Gallery: The gallery is currently an online exhibit to display the works of members of the Saint Louis Drawing & Painting Group or other artists of interest in the region. Check out what’s currently showing and give us some feedback on the presentation.
Discussion: I will be posting matters people email to me, submit in comments, or bring up for public discussion or debate on the discussion page.
Past Events: See links to info on past events that we have held or have participated in.
Comunity: There is a community page for posting events that are upcoming in the community.
